Yesterday, I installed a software on a friend's computer, I got this error, and after researching for a while, I successfully fixed the error of missing this MSVCR110.dll file. So what is the cause of this error? As far as I know, this error may be caused by a virus that eats files or simply your computer has not been installed Microsoft Visual C ++, so it cannot run some installed applications.

Method 1: Add file MSVCR110.dll

(This method is quick, so try it first)

+ Step 1: Implementation: Please search and download the file MSVCR110.dll, there is a very detailed article on how to find the *.dll file already.

+ Step 2: Extract the msvcr110.zip file you just downloaded. The msvcr110.dll file is the file that we need to get, and the readme.txt file is the instruction file.

Please copy the file msvcr110.dll to the corresponding directory as follows:

** If you use Windows 32bit version, copy the following link:

C:WindowsSystem (for Windows 95/98/Me)
C:WINNTSystem32 (for Windows NT/2000)
C:WindowsSystem32 (for Windows XP, Vista, 7, win 8, 8.1 and Windows 10)

** If you use Windows 64bit, copy the following path:

C:WindowsSysWOW64

Note: Please override if asked. Then restart the computer to see the results again.

Tips: If the error still occurs, please try again using cmd to activate. Please open a cmd window as administrator => enter the command regsvr32 msvcr110.dll and press Enter to execute.

Step 2: Choose the right version for your computer.

1. VSU_4vcredist_x64.exe : For Windows 64bit
2. VSU_4vcredist_x86.exe : For 32bit Windows

Step 3: After downloading, install as a normal application / software => then Restart the computer to check the results.
