Lenovo's newly upgraded IdeaPad U series is one of the first models to use Intel Core i series low-voltage processors .
Lenovo's new IdeaPad U series features a chiclet keyboard upgrade and ambient light sensor. But the biggest change is the new generation Intel Core i series low voltage (ULV) processors.
Like now, U150 models will have 11.6-inch screens, U360's 13 inches, U460 14 inches and U560 15 inches. All are 2.5 cm thinner and weigh no more than 1.7 kg.

According to Spec, the new IdeaPad U series offered Core i7 processor options (Core i7-640UM 1.6GHz, Core i7-620UM 1.06GHz), Core i5 (Core i5-540UM speed 1.2GHz, Core i5-520UM clocked at 1.06GHz, Core i5-430UM clocked at 1.2GHz) and Core i3-330UM clocked at 1.2GHz. Estimated prices for low-voltage Core i chips have not been disclosed.
There is no information about discrete graphics card options, but cheap models are also offered with Pentium and Celeron processor options. These "affordable" models are expected to cost only about $ 679.
Because of the new Core i series processor with extremely low voltage, Lenovo's IdeaPad line is expected to have a high battery life.
All new IdeaPad U models are 2.5 cm thinner and weigh no more than 1.7 kg.
These models are also upgraded with chiclet keyboard and ambient light sensor.
The biggest and most noticeable change of this model is the new generation processor
