On July 16, 2008, Lenovo Vietnam introduced four new notebooks for consumers. These four computer lines are aimed at individual users with features of face recognition (extension), one-Key Rescue System - for data recovery, HDMI - allowing connection to the digital world and reader Blu-Ray DVD.
With this announcement, Lenovo introduced two new IdeaPad notebook models - 13-inch IdeaPad Y330 and U330 models and 14-inch wide-screen IdeaPad Y430. In addition, the IdeaPad Y530 is a complete complement to Lenovo's portfolio of consumer notebooks. All of these new laptops are equipped with 2 processor Intel Centrino processor technology.
The IdeaPad U330 is currently in black, with a thickness of only 0.9 inches (2.28 cm) and weighing 1.81 kg. Equipped with VeriFace's latest facial recognition technology, users can access encrypted files and record a 30-second video message for other users. Along with Dolby Home Theater technology and a multimedia-controlled touchpad, the U330 also supports HDMI and an integrated DVD burner.

The IdeaPad U330 notebook also features a convertible graphics mode. It is also equipped with LED display technology, battery running for 5 hours and the Active Protection System - APS. APS technology helps to protect the data in the hard drive when the device falls. In addition, if the machine's operating system is malfunctioning, users can restore their data only by clicking the one-Key Rescue System button.
The jet -black IdeaPad Y330 notebook, designed for high mobility performance, the IdeaPad Y330 combines the existing features of IdeaPad notebooks, such as integrated DVD burner, camera, Ram 4GB and 320GB hard drive, the latest wireless connectivity technology (including Bluetooth).
The IdeaPad Y430 and Y530 notebooks feature a striking black design and dark red. Users can also choose between a framed screen and no frame, or even choose to have a Blu-Ray DVD player.
These new notebooks will appear at Lenovo dealerships nationwide from August 16, 2008. Starting prices for IdeaPad Y430, Y530 and U330 are USD 1,000, USD 1,699 and USD 1,999 respectively.
