Intel revealed information about Core i9-12900KS Alder Lake 'special edition': the first Intel CPU clocked at 5.5GHz

Talking about the name first, the Intel Core i9-12900KS can be considered a special version of the Core i9-12900K, with the suffix 'S' standing for 'Special' edition. This flagship Alder Lake chip will provide unlocked cores for overclocking (due to being a K-series SKU). It seems that the Core i9-12900KS will mainly target the overclocking market, offering better stability at higher clocks.
