How to view weather information using the Maps app on iPhone

You can view weather information for different locations from the iOS Maps app. Weather app will give you information about temperature and forecasting related to specific locations. That was amazing. However, if you are driving or using the Maps application and still be able to view weather information for locations, it is even more amazing.

The new version of Apple Maps for iOS will include weather gadgets. It will give you information about the temperature and weather of a specific location in Maps. Also, if you use iPhone 3D Touch, you can use a trick to add locations directly to the Weather app.

How to view weather information for different locations from the Maps app on iPhone

1. Open the Maps application on iPhone and search for a location as usual
2. When the location is searched, look at the lower right corner of the app, you will see a small weather icon that displays the temperature of that location.

1. Tips for 3D Touch: use 3D Touch, click on the weather icon to see the extended weather forecast information.

You can take the steps above with any location on Maps. It is true for every city, town or even rural areas away from the road.

Tips with 3D Touch

1. If you press lightly, you will see more detailed weather forecasts.

1. If you emphasize, the Maps application will redirect that location to the Weather application and ask you to add it to the Weather application or view it in the Weather app for more specific weather information like Wind speed, humidity, heat index, rain, and extended forecast.

If you don't see the weather icon in the corner of the Maps app, you need to be able to upgrade to a newer version of iOS.
