Method 1: Turn off Siri and Voice Dialing

Use this to disable Voice Control and prevent accidental calls from being activated when leaving your phone in your pocket or purse. Voice Control cannot be physically turned off using the buttons. Siri needs to be enabled to take over Voice Control, switch the screen lock to a password, and then disable Siri from the lock screen. This will prevent holding the Home button to start Voice Control or Siri when the screen is locked, to avoid creating unwanted "outgoing pocket calls".

1. Open Settings , by clicking the alias icon on the home screen or scroll down from the Home screen to find it.

2. Touch Siri . On iOS 9 and 10, you need to open the General menu first.

3. Switch Siri to ON if it is turned off. This may sound counterproductive, but you need to turn on Siri so that it cancels Voice Control.

4. Go back to the Settings menu and select Touch ID & Passcode . On older iPhone devices, Touch ID is not supported, this item is only called Passcode. If using iOS 7 or later, it will be placed in the General section.

5. Tap Turn Passcode on and create a password if not previously available. You will need a password to activate the lock screen.

6. Switch Voice Dialing to off mode. Click on the Voice Dial option to turn off voice dialing.

7. Turn off Siri on the lock screen. Touch the Siri option to turn off Siri from the lock screen.

8. Set Require Password to Immediately . This will force the phone to ask for a password as soon as you turn off the screen, to prevent accidental calls from being made when you touch the phone.

9. Lock the phone. Now that the settings are done, you will not be able to start Voice Control or Siri when pressing and holding the Home button while the phone is locked.

Method 2: Turn off Voice Control for jailbroken iPhone

You can quickly disable Voice Control on jailbroken iPhones, by following the steps below.

1. Open the Settings menu and select Activator . After jailbreaking, the Activator tweaking tool is installed automatically, it allows to change the settings on iPhone device.
2. Click Anywhere to change the settings that are always applied to the device.
3. Press Long Hold under Home Button . This is the basic command to start Voice Control.
4. Select Do Nothing under the System Actions section to prevent the Home button from starting Voice Control.

Actually, the implementation is not that difficult, right? Hopefully this article will help save you a decent amount of battery life, as well as get rid of unnecessary inconveniences when calls are accidentally activated.
Good luck!
