Start the Photos app, on the Albums tab, select the All Photos folder.
You will see all your photos here, select the Select option in the upper right corner.
However, iOS 11 does not have the Select All option, you can do it the same way, but choosing each one like that will take time, especially when you have multiple photos to delete. But you can choose your photos easily.
On the Select Items page, press and hold the last image in the photo library. While the finger is still on the image, you move it up, left to select more images. Continue swiping until all photos are selected.
The selected image will have a blue check mark at the bottom right corner. When you have selected all photos, touch the trash can icon at the bottom right of the screen.
You will see a warning asking if you want to delete the selected photos, touch the Delete # Items option .
Apple ensures that when users accidentally delete photos, they can be recovered by accessing the Recently Deleted folder (this is the same as the Windows Recycle Bin). So to delete these photos permanently, open the Albums tab, select the Recently Deleted folder (near the bottom of the screen).
In this folder, you will see all photos that have just been deleted. It will store photos for 30 days before deleting them permanently. Each photo has a '# Days' label to indicate storage time. Unless you restore photos manually, they will be automatically deleted from memory when the countdown is 0.
Tap Select in the upper right corner in the Recently Deleted page.
Click Delete All in the lower left corner of the screen.
You will see a warning that this action cannot be undone, click ' Delete # Items' to permanently delete your photo.
How to delete photos on all devices synced from macOS
If you have access to a Mac, there is an easier way to delete all photos on your iPhone or iPad at the same time, even from multiple devices that you have synced with each other.
Open Photos app on Mac, if you have iCloud set up to sync your phone and computer, you will see all the pictures in the application menu.
Press Command + A on the keyboard to select all your photos.
Then right click on the image display area, click on the option ' Delete # Items '.
A warning message appears, indicating that this will delete your photo on all synced devices, click the " Delete " button .
You can also delete all your photos on a specific device by resetting the device. This action will erase all personal data including photos, videos and applications on the phone, making the phone almost new. However, this operation does not delete images synced to the cloud storage service. If you plan to sell your phone or take it for repair, you should delete everything to protect your privacy.
I wish you all success!
