Here it is! New interface of Microsoft Office

Microsoft started testing the new user interface for Office a few months ago. Design elements as well as aesthetics in the new interface have generally been more in line with the style of Windows 11.

After months of testing, tweaking, and receiving positive feedback from the Insider community, Microsoft has decided to start rolling out these changes to all Office 365 and Office 2021 users around the world.

One of the first tweaks that users can easily notice is in the ribbon bar area. The ribbon bar interface now feels more modern, softer thanks to the effect brought from the rounded corners, similar to other areas on Windows 11, thereby providing a more synchronized experience. However, this innovation will not change the way you use and manipulate the ribbon at all.

Besides the more 'round' interface, Microsoft has also tweaked the design to make Office better compatible with the light mode and dark mode options that users are applying. for the operating system. There is nothing worse than a situation where an application runs in the light background, while the overall interface of the PC is in the dark background. This update of Office will completely solve that problem, not only helping to ensure aesthetics but also contribute to optimizing the user experience.

Notably, Microsoft will not force Office users to immediately get used to and use the new interface. Instead, you can toggle the new look on and off depending on your preferences. A speaker icon will appear at the top of the screen, and clicking on it will instantly switch from the new interface to the old one.

The update that comes with these new changes will only be rolled out by Microsoft to Windows 11 users. So if you're running Office on a Windows 10 or earlier PC, you won't notice anything new.

Overall, this is a small, but really necessary update. The old Office interface looks very uncomfortable when combined with the rounded corners in the overall design language of Windows 11. Now, everything will become more 'labeled'.
