Fix the Google Chrome sync feature not working
Google Chrome gives users some options to sync data between devices when you open Chrome browser. Whenever you log in to Chrome browser, a feature called Chrome Sync will be activated to sync bookmarks, browsing history, autofill, passwords, ... with Google accounts and you can use Use this data on all devices.

Sync on Google Chrome does not work
In some cases you may face the problem of syncing information on the Chrome browser in error or when you change some data and sync but you do not see the data synchronized on other devices.
The cause of the error:
When you sign in to Chrome and enable sync, Chrome uses your Google account to encrypt data in sync with Sync Passphrase.
When setting up a passphrase, you can encrypt and store data on Cloud. And you will have to use the passphrase to continue syncing all devices using the Chrome browser.
The cause of the asynchronous error on Chrome browser may be because you forgot your passphrase or if you just changed your Google account.
To fix this error, you can refer to some of the following solutions of Network Administrator.
1. Enter the correct passphrase
In order to fix a failing error on Chrome browser, the first solution you can apply is to enter the correct passphare. To do this thing:
1. On Chrome browser, click the 3 dash line icon in the top right corner of the screen to open the Chrome Menu.
2. On the Chrome Menu window, click to select the sync error message to open Advanced Sync Settings.
3. Next on the Advanced Sync Settings window, in the Encryption options section, enter your correct passphrase. If you use a Google account to encrypt data, then you will have to enter your Google account password.
4. Click OK to refresh the synchronization settings.
2. Disconnect and reconnect your Google account with Chrome
If the above solution is not useful, the error still does not fix it, then you can apply the solution is to disconnect and reconnect your Google account to Chrome:
1. Open Chrome browser, then click on the 3 dash line icon in the top right corner of the screen, click Settings .
2. On the Settings window, click the button Disconnect your Google Account.
3. Now on the screen, a dialog window will appear with options to clear the history, bookmarks and some other settings, . Here you click the Disconnect account to confirm.
4. Your account will be disconnected. Your next task is to close the Chrome window, then proceed to reopen Chrome again.
5. Next, open the Settings window again and click Sign in to Chrome to reconnect your Google account.
6. After logging in, you will see Chrome Sync settings on the screen.
3. Use Google Dashboard to reset the passphrase
Chrome Sync's Google Dashboard is where you can find all the information related to your synchronized data stream.
You can use Dashboard to reset Chrome sync. This process will erase all data from Google servers and delete passphrases, however the data stored on your devices will not be deleted.
1. Suppose you have logged in to your Google account, click on the link to open Chrome Sync Dashboard.
2. Next on Chrome sync window, scroll down to find Reset sync option .
3. Click Reset sync , then click OK on the confirmation dialog window to reset your passphrase. Log back in Chrome and proceed to sync again.
