Google released Chrome 70 with many new improvements
Google has released Chrome 70 for Mac, Windows and Linux, containing more HTTP warnings and a better option for signing in to Google Accounts.
On Chrome 69, when a user signs in to any Google services like Gmail or YouTube, the account's avatar will appear to the right of the address bar and the browser will automatically sync the person's data. use. This makes many users uncomfortable.
On Chrome 70, Google fixed this by adding a new "Allow Chrome sign-in" option in the settings (Settings -> Advanced). When this option is turned off, users who are not signed in to Chrome can still sign in to Google services like Gmail. When clicking on an avatar of an account, users can know about the synchronization status including logged out, logged in, and synced or logged in but not synchronized.
When a user visits an HTTP website on the Chrome 70 browser, it will issue an unsafe warning. When a user enters a password or other personal data, the "Not secure" section before the HTTP web address even turns red.
From Chrome 70 onwards, users are allowed to set when the extension is allowed to run by right-clicking on Chrome Extension.
With Chrome 70, websites get Touch ID access on the MacBook Pro and other Apple hardware as part of the Web Authentication API. For example, Touch ID can be used to authenticate two elements on support sites.
Chrome 70 has integrated AV1 decoder into Chrome OS, macOS, Linux and Windows but has not yet added encryption capabilities. AV1 is a new generation encryption standard that provides high-quality and more efficient video for users, improving 30% more effective video compression than the current VP9 standard.
