China builds rockets that deliver goods to anywhere on Earth within 1 hour

China's largest e-commerce platform Taobao has joined hands with rocket manufacturer Space Epoch to create rockets that can be delivered around the world in just 1 hour.

On March 31, Chinese rocket manufacturer Space Epoch announced an ambitious plan, collaborating with Taobao to build reusable rockets, serving express shipments that can arrive anywhere. anywhere in the world within 1 hour.

Space Epoch information published on social network WeChat said that the project is in the initial testing phase, with the goal of developing a rocket capable of transporting up to 10 tons of cargo in a space of 120m3.

According to Reuters, Space Epoch is looking to apply the Yuanxing-1 rocket in this project. Yuanxing-1 previously completed tests last year.

The company will continue to conduct missile tests in the near future and affirms that the process of achieving the goal in a short time is not easy.

Space Epoch also raised 200 million yuan (nearly 700 billion VND) in its third capital mobilization last November.

Over the years, China has worked to expand strategic industries, including the commercial aerospace sector, which is seen as key to building constellations of satellites dedicated to communications, remote sensing and navigation.

In 2023, China carried out a record 67 orbital rocket launches, including 17 commercial rocket launches. Previously in 2022, China carried out 10 launches for commercial purposes.
