Security company F-Secure has said that virus creators have found a way to create malicious programs that can attack computers and cell phones.
Mikko Hypponen, director of antivirus research at F-Secure, said that this is the first time experts have discovered the 'interesting' bisexual 'trojan' that has this unique ability.
On the same day, security company Trend Micro also announced the arrival of trojans called Sybos / Cardtrap.A that has never been seen before. Trojan Sybos / Cardtrap.A already has two built-in viruses that work in the Windows environment. When infecting mobile phones via the Bluetooth port of the Symbian Series 60 mobile phone, it will copy these two types of Windows viruses to the mobile phone's memory card. When a user accidentally uses a computer to read files created by trojans in an infected memory card, the virus will immediately spread to the hard drive, as well as jump right into the network to continue the infection process. F-Secure named these two viruses Win32 / Padobot.Z and Win32 / Rays
The Padobot.Z virus will automatically copy itself to the autorun.inf file and also automatically copy it to any type of mobile phone card that users connect to the infected computer. The Rays virus is hidden under a SYSTEM.EXE file name and is capable of strong infection in the internal network.
The trojan Sybos / Cardtrap.A and the two viruses that it 'carries on' have a high level of vandalism, but this is evidence that the level of virus experts has been raised to a new level.
