The Zenfone 5 and Nokia XL are considered the two largest screen phones ( 5 inches ) with the best prices on the market today. Before the duo came up, the Vietnamese market had seen a series of products running Android big screens cheaply, but they all came from less reputable manufacturers, yet to create peace of mind for users.

Surprisingly, both of these products were chosen in mid-June to sell in Vietnam, the price is quite similar. Nokia XL sells for 3.7 million VND, while Zenfone 4 A501's price is slightly higher, at 4 million VND.

Design

This can be considered the biggest difference of 2 products. While the Nokia XL is more rugged and rugged with its monumental, square design, the Zenfone 5 A501 looks sleeker and more polished. This is also evident in the weight of the product, when Nokia XL weighs 190 grams and Zenfone 5 is only 145 grams.

These are not products with impressive thinness ( all over 10 mm ). Zenfone 5 has a slim design, longer than the competition, while the Nokia XL looks more chubby. When holding in hand, Zenfone will feel more comfortable but less firm than Nokia XL.

Both Zenfone 5 and Nokia XL have different color options. With Nokia XL, users can buy more covers and replacements easily, because the device is designed with Dualshot cover that comes from the Asha series.

Configuration

Configuration is one of the factors that users are most interested in when choosing to buy a cheap smartphone. At this point, Zenfone 5 A501 has more advantages. The device is equipped with a dual-core Intel Atom processor, clocked at 1.6 GHz, much more powerful than the Nokia XL's 1 GHz Snapdragon 200 speed. The RAM of the genuine Zenfone 5 A501 is up to 2 GB, more than 768 MB on the Nokia XL.

The battery of the Zenfone 5 also has a larger capacity (2,110 mAh) , but considering that the device uses a powerful processor chip, HD screen resolution, this is not necessarily the advantage of Zenfone. In fact, some people who have experienced portable Zenfone 5 products have also complained about the bad battery life.

Meanwhile, Nokia XL uses a 2,000 mAh battery. If this model continues to be able to optimize battery life as well as Nokia X or X +, it may, this will continue to be a cheap product, Nokia's buffalo battery.

Interface of X series products from Nokia.

These are cheap products, but both use very deep customizable interfaces compared to the original Android. Zenfone 5 uses the Zen UI interface with a fairly flat design, the icons are elegantly designed, good-looking with some attractive features like glove use mode.

Meanwhile, Nokia XL uses a closed Android version called Nokia X Platform 1.0 . The home screen of the Live Tile layout is slightly similar to Lumia phones, while the second page has a bulletin board similar to Flashlane on the Asha line. This interface is not appreciated but quite convenient to use.

Another point to note is that Nokia products will not be integrated with Google applications such as Play Store, Gmail, YouTube . In return, it owns quality services from Microsoft like One Drive, Skype, Outlook or Here Maps map service. In general, with the app store available on the device, plus the installation of external applications, Nokia XL still satisfies the requirements of Android users.

This is a good model of Asus in terms of design, performance as well as camera compared to competitors in the low price segment.
