Asus Vietnam General Manager - Jeff Lo Said that Asus will release five new Zenfone models before the Lunar New Year, whereby three models will be released in the fourth quarter of this year, the other two will launched at the beginning of 2015 (solar calendar) . Asus representatives also emphasized that the 5 new Zenfone models will spread in many different segments, helping users to have new options.

Currently, Asus is selling in Vietnam market 3 versions of Zenfone with size respectively 4.5 and 6 inches, in which 4 inch version has 2 versions, 1 uses 1200 mAh battery, one uses 1600 mAh battery. Zenfone 6 also has 2 versions, a dual-core chip with 1.6 GHz speed and a 2 GHz chip.

In the framework of the opening event of Asus Expo 2014 in Hanoi ( September 26 ), Asus representatives also shared some information related to Zenfone product line, such as Asus sold 300,000 Zenfone units. In the first 4 months after the shelf , it accounts for about 6% market share in Vietnam. Currently, Zenfone has sales of about 1 million units sold every month globally, in which the focus is still on Asian markets such as Southeast Asia, India, Taiwan or China.

The company aims to occupy 10% of domestic smartphone market share by the end of 2014 and 15% market share in 2015.
