Apply gradient effects to background colors in PowerPoint

Step 1: Go to the Design tab -> Format Background:

Step 2: The Format Background window appears, click Gradient Fill -> select the color that appears first in the Preset gradient section:

Step 3:
- Click the Type select the type of color appearance.
- Select the color that appears first in the Color section .
- If you want to add other colors, click Add Gradient stop -> select the color for this next color, similarly you want to add as many colors as possible for the Slide background , if you do not want to select a certain color click the arrow Following the selected colors in the Gradient stop section, click the Remove Gradient stop icon .
- Also you can change the transparency for the background color by changing the parameters in the Transparency section :

Step 4: Finally, click Apply to All to apply to the entire slide ( if you want to apply to the current slide only, close the Format Background window ):

- In case you do not want to apply the color settings -> click Reset Background.
