According to Kuo, Apple will use Face ID as an authentication method because this is their competitive advantage over Android phones. Kuo earlier said that it took years for Android manufacturers to create a technology worthy of TrueDepth Camera and Face ID.

He predicted that the 2018 iPhone will have a full screen design with the minimum bezel like the iPhone X. It will also be the end for Touch ID, a biometric authentication method that has been available since 2013.
