Recently, Twitter @rikvduijn account used a friend's 2D photo to check the face recognition feature of the OnePlus 6. The results were disappointing, the smartphone unlocked in less than a second.

OnePlus representative said that the company still advises users to use security solutions such as passwords, PIN codes or fingerprints, and its Face Unlock design is only intended to help users have more security solutions and convenience. .
Face Unlock on the OnePlus 6 is not developed by the OnePlus, but has asked a security company specializing in the research and development of Chinese facial recognition technology called SenseTime.
