What can be done on computers can now be done on mobile phones. Flash software is used to view about 75% of online videos and is a key technology for websites like YouTube.

At a conference of Google 'I / O' developers in San Francisco (USA) on May 20, Adobe Software introduced the latest version of Flash software 10.1 optimized to work on Mobile phones and computers. The reason Adobe must have a lightweight version for smartphones and netbooks is that these devices have a more limited processing power than regular computers.

Google is the first mobile operating system manufacturer to claim that the technology will be available on phones running the Android operating system. However, only mobile phones running the latest Android OS 2.2 can use Flash.

The Android operating system is currently available on phones of a number of manufacturers including Motorola, HTC and Samsung.

Adobe hopes Flash 10.1 will soon appear on other mobile operating system platforms such as BlackBerry, Windows Mobile and Symbian. However, this software company has not given a specific time when the new Flash version will be applied on the above operating systems.

Adobe said it has made efforts to ensure that Flash on mobile will not drain the battery quickly.

Flash is still not available on the famous iPhone mobile application, which uses Apple's proprietary iPhone OS.

Steve Jobs, Apple's chief executive, once said that Flash is one of the ' worst security apps in 2009 ', ' not working well on mobile devices ', and' the number one reason makes Mac computer hang up '.
