Select the capacity of the hood to match the space used
Hoods with a higher suction power will correspond to extremely strong suction forces. However, in order to save power and cost when buying a user, choose the suction power level suitable for the kitchen area. You should choose genuine hoods such as Faber hood, Sunhouse hood, Electrolux hood, Bosch hood .
Formula to calculate the capacity of hoods:
Width x height x depth x 10 = minimum necessary suction capacity (in m 3 / h).

Location to install the hood
For kitchens that have been recently completed, experts often recommend installing a hood before installing kitchen cabinets and kitchens. The minimum distance from the underside of the hood to the face of the electric stove (induction cooker, infrared stove) must be 50cm away. The minimum distance from the underside of the hood to the gas stove is 65cm.

Length for exhaust hood exhaust pipe
The exhaust pipe is an important part of the hood. The more the exhaust pipe is installed, the more the suction capacity will be reduced. Therefore, when installing the exhaust pipe for the hood, consider the following issues:
If a long exhaust pipe is installed, make sure that the exhaust pipe is as small as possible.
If the exhaust pipe has a 90 degree angle, it is advisable to install the exhaust pipe about 4 - 5 m long.
If the exhaust pipe has 2 or more kinked corners, it is recommended to install a 3 - 4 m long exhaust pipe.

Hoods are divided into 3 main categories: classic hood, curved glass hood, independent hood. Each type of hood will have different installation ways and the diameter of the exhaust pipe will also be different:
For classic hoods, it is advisable to install exhaust pipes with diameters from Ф90 - Ф110.
For curved glass hoods, straight glass will install exhaust pipes with a diameter of Ф110 - Ф150.
After choosing the type of exhaust pipe diameter suitable for the type of exhaust hood, your last stage is to create a waiting tube for the exhaust pipe.

Experts who encourage to wait for a wall with a diameter of Ф110 will be suitable for most types of hoods in the market. Because if the pipe is waiting for the wall to be too big, it will cause loss of beauty. If the pipe waiting for the wall is too small, it will increase the noise when it smells. Therefore, the waiting pipe diameter of Ф110 is the most ideal.
Select the type of exhaust duct for the hood
Air exhaust for hoods has 2 main types: hard tube (PVC pipe) and soft tube (silver tube). Each type of exhaust pipe will have its own advantages.
Rigid pipelines have higher durability, withstand harsh climatic environments in Vietnam.
Flexible ducts are only suitable to be installed in straight line form, with few bends. It is not suitable to have too many kinks because it will increase the noise level of the device.
