Viber, a free calling and messaging app for both iOS and Android platforms, now has a Beta version for two other popular mobile operating systems, BlackBerry's RIM and Microsoft's Windows Phone.

The application is available on the BlackBerry App World and MarketPlace application booths, free of charge, as with previous operating systems. Thus, there are 4 popular mobile platforms currently supporting Viber, but Symbian and Bada are not yet available. Viber's managing unit does not disclose whether the other two platforms will have this application in the future, nor will it announce the timing of the official Viber version for BlackBerry and Windows Phone.

Because it is just a trial version, the calling feature is still not available for RIM smartphones or Windows Phone. Existing users are only allowed to text and share image content and location for each other. Currently, in addition to Viber, there are other applications (no calling features like Viber) like Whatsapp, FPT Chat, ChatOn, Line, . for many different platforms.
