From April 1, BlackBerry World will only provide free applications
Since April 1, only free apps are available on the BlackBerry World app store. On March 31, any paid applications that exist on BlackBerry World will be removed.

Recently, BlackBerry sent mail to developers asking them to transfer paid apps on BlackBerry World (if available) to free. On March 31, any paid applications that exist on BlackBerry World will be removed.
BlackBerry Passport and Classic are the two most recent high-end BlackBerry smartphones running BlackBerry 10. Since the BlackBerry BlackBerry launched in 2015, BlackBerry has switched to Android.
Some important notes in BlackBerry email:
- Developers can change the paid content for free and download it back to the app store at any time.
- Developers can still make money from their apps on BlackBerry World but every payment mechanism must be integrated in the application itself.
- BlackBerry will support application refunders for paid content on BlackBerry World until April 30, 2018.
- Customers can still access the content they have purchased before the time the changes take effect.
BlackBerry World will close on December 31, 2019.
Those who still use a BlackBerry smartphone running BlackBerry 10 operating system, please keep in mind the April 1 mark.
