Viber continues to become the No. 1 free Internet chat / call network in the mobile market with support for older operating systems such as BlackBerry OS 5 and OS 7.
According to PhoneArena, Viber has released a beta version on these two operating systems, allowing calls on both Wi-fi and 3G. Unfortunately, the version of BlackBerry OS 6 is not available on Viber due to technical issues.
Within two and a half years since its launch, Viber has attracted 175 million users from all platforms. BlackBerry is currently Viber's third largest platform (after Android and iOS) with 15,000 new users every day.
