Twitter started deploying a new desktop experience based on PWA

If you regularly visit the Twitter site via the desktop, you'll notice a completely different interface, along with a few relatively new features.

This is a complete list of updated changes:

  1. Tweet: Now you can 'retweet with a comment' on a tweet you retweet.
  2. Tweet: The application will not refresh as often as you did while you were writing the Tweet.
  3. Tweet / A11Y: Using the 'J' or 'K' keys to navigate the timeline will now focus on content in a more consistent position on the screen, helping to improve visualization.
  4. Navigation: Moving to or from certain pages will now have fewer blinking effects than before.
  5. Navigation: The items in most task menus will now come with new specific icons added next, for a more intuitive display.
  6. Media: Media in Direct Messages now look more like media in Tweet.
  7. Direct Message: Messages that have been unsuccessfully sent can be deleted or resent.

If you are using a mobile website or application downloaded from Microsoft Store on Windows 10, all of the above features are available to experience. If you are using the Twitter site via the desktop, you will receive a new interface according to the route.
