The Razer Blade 15 2020 officially debuted with the NVIDIA RTX SUPER GPU and 300Hz display
Razer has just launched the new generation Blade 15 gaming laptop (Blade 15 2020).
Razer has just launched the new generation Blade 15 gaming laptop (Blade 15 2020) with a series of hardware improvements that focus on the power of heavy gaming and support content creation work. Specifically announced by the manufacturer as follows:
Blade 15 2020 is equipped with the latest 10th-generation Intel Core processor - 8-core CPU from Intel called Core i7-10875H (this is also the first Razer Blade laptop to use 8-core CPU). This CPU promises to provide a clock speed of up to 5.1 GHz and Intel Smart Cache memory up to 16 MB, perfectly suited for both gaming and content creation.
DDR4 RAM up to 2933 MHz supports perfect multitasking, combined with a 512GB NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD to ensure system bootability and application access are always at an optimal level.
The new wireless Wi-Fi 6 AX201 (Gig +) standard, which supports support for network speeds of up to 2.4GHz.
The new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER GPU with upgraded Max-Q version offers up to 25% more performance than regular RTX GPUs, incorporating 8GB of high-bandwidth GDDR6 memory and more ray tracing cores. In addition, this GPU is also equipped with performance tweaks from the Max-Q design such as Advanced Optimus and Dynamic Boost, giving users a high frame rate when playing games while ensuring battery life.
Blade 15 2020 is equipped with a 15.6-inch Full HD screen with refresh rate (refresh rate) of up to 300Hz for smooth and sharp image transitions. There is also a 4K OLED touch screen option with 100% DCI-P3 color coverage exclusively for content creators.
Newly-designed keyboard, featuring a refined key layout for more efficient operation, combined with anti-ghosting technology to improve accuracy while typing. The built-in Razer Synapse 3 allows customizing the Razer Chroma RGB light to cover a wide spectrum of 16.8 million colors and unique lighting effects.
Connectivity options include USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A, HDMI, USB Type-C and Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports and UHS-III SD card reader.
Razer Blade 15 will be sold from May with 2 major versions:
- The base version (Blade 15) includes two options: a GTX 1660 Ti with a 1080p 144Hz screen ($ 1,599) and a GPU RTX 2070, a 512GB SSD with a 4K screen ($ 2,299).
- The high-end version (Blade 15 Advanced) also includes two options: RTX 2070 Super, 512GB SSD with 1080p 300Hz screen (US $ 2,599), and GeForce RTX 2080 Super, 1TB SSD with 4K screen (US $ 3,299).
