Today, viruses can be easily eradicated with advanced antivirus software. However, the virus is still a nightmare every night. It continues to attack computers and causes millions of dollars in damage. We will review the list of horrifying assassins in the past 3 decades .

Brain, 1986

Brain is the first real virus that was discovered in 1986. Brain doesn't really harm your computer but it is the initial blow to computer technology that destroys computers and gives bad ideas to come out. 100,000 other viruses within the next two decades.

Michelangelo, 1991

This is the most horrible type of rus MS - DOS ever found. It attacks the boot sector of the hard disk and any floppy disk that is installed on the computer and spreads the virus at breakneck speed. After spreading quietly for months, these viruses simultaneously "activated" on March 6 of that year and quickly destroyed the data of thousands of computers.

Melissa, 1999

Defining exactly, this is a computer worm. Melissa ruined the entire mail system by making computers automatically send tons of mail bombs to each other. However, the author of this virus was eventually arrested and subjected to 20 months in prison.

ILOVEYOU, 2000

This virus is known as one of the leading viruses that can trick computer users into opening files. It will send a love word to the recipient. In fact, this file is a VBS file, which sends thousands of promotional messages and wipes out tons of files. The consequences it caused were horrible, it was estimated to attack about 10% of the world's computers, causing losses of about 5.5 billion USD. Up to this point, it may still be the most terrible worm of all time.

Code Red, 2001

The object that this virus targets is the server system in the network. It will wipe the site and then start attacking the server.
