Summary of several ways to quickly access the Settings application on Windows 10
On Windows 10, Microsoft integrated a new application called Settings. This Settings application is a Metro application created by Microsoft to replace the classic Control Panel application. The Windows password change option is now no longer available on the Control Panel like in previous versions, and if you want to change the Windows password you will have to manipulate via the Settings application.

1. Use keyboard shortcuts
To open the Settings app on Windows 10 the fastest, you just need to press the Windows + I. key combination .
2. Open the Settings application from the Start Menu
Click on the Start button. Now on the screen appears the Start Menu window, find and click the Settings icon (small jagged icon) located near the bottom left corner. And the Settings app will launch immediately.
3. Open the Settings application via Cortana Search
Click on the Cortana Search pane in the Taskbar, then enter Settings there. On the list of search results, click the Settings application.
4. Through Power User Menu
Right-click the Start button in the bottom left corner of the screen, then click Settings .
5. Open the Settings application from This PC
On Windows 10, it has integrated This PC folder containing the Open Settings icon on the Ribbon. On previous Windows versions, there was a command to open Control Panel. On Windows 10, Microsoft integrated the Settings application to completely replace the classic Control Panel. Open This PC , and you can open Settings from the Ribbon.
6. Open the Settings application via Command Prompt
On a Windows 10 computer, open Command Prompt (or PowerShell). Then enter the following command into the Command Prompt window:
start ms-settings:
Press Enter and Windows 10 will open the Settings application immediately.
7. Open Settings through the Run command window
Press the Windows + R key combination to open the Run command window. Then enter the command below into the Run window and press Enter:
ms-settings:
Immediately on the screen will appear the Settings application window.
