1. Disconnect

Disconnect is a Firefox add-on that helps prevent websites from stopping you online. By limiting the ads and analyzing services that can track you online, Disconnect protects your privacy more easily.

Disconnect is not an add-on blocking ads, although it blocks online user tracking elements on ads. And removing ads will increase the speed of surfing the web on your browser.

After installing the add-on and restarting Firefox browser, Disconnect will work immediately on the browser without having to configure any settings. On each website you visit, you will see a small green frame with a number appear on the extension logo.

In addition to Disconnet, you can use another add-on, Ghostery. Ghostery also works similarly to Disconnect but has a higher level of protection. If Disconnect works immediately after being installed, Ghostery requires some settings.

The first time you launch the add-on, you will be provided with a list of all the tracking elements that Ghostery can block. If you are a new user, the best option for you is to click Block All .
