Lenovo laptops and desktops that install Windows 7 SP1 will be available in early April. HP also plans to ship PCs for business soon after. These will be the first products to install Windows 7 SP1 on the market.

PCs with few Windows 7 SP1 operating systems will include patches and bug fixes for the version that Microsoft released in October 2009. Dell's Michael CEO previously said that updating to SP1 could also reduce the stress related to patching up new business customers' PCs. PC computers equipped with Sandy Bridge processors from Intel and Windows 7 SP1 can speed up customers' PC refresh cycles.

While a professional PC maker - Falcon Northwest is ready to ship PCs with Windows SP 1, but companies often perform manual patching for PCs before putting them on the market. According to CEO Kelt Reeves of Falcon Northwest, this patching process may take several hours.

Currently, manufacturers have not yet received Windows 7 SP1 and it is unclear when Microsoft will start exporting to PC makers. Reeves said a problem in SP1 relates to waking the computer after a sleep state. Therefore, Microsoft needs to address this issue soon.

However, Microsoft has yet to respond to information when it will release Windows 7 SP1 to PC makers.
