OPPO A72 launched: Perforated screen, Snapdragon 665, 4 cameras, 5000mAh battery
OPPO A72 can be considered as a slight upgrade version of the camera and storage memory of the new A52 launched yesterday.
OPPO seems to be launching quite a lot of new mid-range smartphones. Just yesterday, the OPPO A52 was launched, but today, an upgraded version of this smartphone, OPPO A72, has been introduced by OPPO. The duo has a similar naming and directional sales segment as Samsung's Galaxy 51 / A71 multiple times. Recently, OPPO also launched Find X2 Lite / Neo, A92s or A12 in a number of different markets.
As sibling versions of OPPO A52, both smartphones have similar hardware specifications, including a 6.5-inch Full HD + IPS LCD screen, running on the new Snapdragon 665 chip. The difference will come from the memory and camera capacity. Specifically, OPPO A72 will also have 4GB RAM but will have 128GB of storage more than double that of OPPO A52, which supports expandable microSD memory card.
Regarding the camera, OPPO A72 is equipped with a cluster of 4 main cameras with the "C" design similar to the A52, including: a 48MP wide-angle main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera and a dimensional camera 2MP deep. It has a 16MP selfie camera on the front.
OPPO A72 also has a fingerprint sensor on the side and has a 3.5mm headphone jack. It has a large battery capacity of 5000mAh, supports nhwah 18W charging and runs on Android 10 with Color OS 7.1 interface.
OPPO A72 will soon be sold in Europe with OPPO A52. The price for this product has not been disclosed, but with the A52 retail price of 1600 yuan, equivalent to 5.3 million, OPPO A72 is expected to have a slightly higher price.
