Following the phone explosion, OnePlus is the latest phone manufacturer to stick to the same scandal.
Following the phone explosion, OnePlus is the latest phone manufacturer to stick to the same scandal. They are also accused by customers of not handling the case responsibly.
An Indian user using OnePlus 3T phone named Akanksha Rachel Saini shared on Facebook that her phone exploded probably because the battery was not good because parts like circuit boards broke into pieces and other components were completely flowing.
Fortunately, no one was injured in this incident, but as the user commented, OnePlus did not pay attention to resolving the case.
The second OnePlus phone model exploded
Akanksha Rachel Saini said that the OnePlus is only interested in the 'technical aspect of the incident', they only ask questions related to the state of the phone when the explosion occurs. While there are other details that a phone manufacturer needs to know when handling such situations. She said that OnePlus 'only cares about phones'.
OnePlus will have to do something to not lose the trust of users
'With OnePlus it was just a phone but for me it was a life threatening incident,' she added, adding that she had reported the explosion to the company nearly a month ago.
'I've talked to a lot of customer care workers but nobody knows anything and all they care about is the back of the phone or the circuit board that I've been talking about since it's been burned in the accident. "Akanksha said.
She also added that another friend's OnePlus phone also exploded recently due to the battery. And as in their case, the OnePlus support team showed no interest in handling the situation she called a "life threatening incident".
OnePlus has not made any official comment yet. But when the case became known, they should soon investigate and explain the case.
