Official news: OnePlus 6 will have up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of memory
We all know the OnePlus 6 is about to appear and it will probably appear sooner than expected. Recently the manufacturer has confirmed several parameters for its latest device.
In a blog post called 'Speed Pursuit', the CEO of OnePlus Pete Lau presented how they 'started with the best hardware'. Specifically here is Snapdragon 845 processor, 8GB RAM and 256GB memory. Those are probably the most expensive specifications, but with an estimated price of $ 749, OnePlus has provided much higher specs than rivals, at a cheaper price.
For example, the Google Pixel 2 XL costs $ 849 while the RAM is only 4GB and the memory is 64GB. Upgrading to 128GB will cost an additional $ 100.
The parameters of OnePlus 6 are very respectable, especially compared to the price with other phones
Lau also said that there is much work to be done to get the speed experience, we have seen many phones with terrible parameters but have trouble because the software is too poor. Lau said that the FSE (Fast, Stable, Efficient - Fast, Stable, Efficient) group of OnePlus is focusing on improving the speed of high-end phones. In the crowd of Android products it seems that only the OnePlus is chasing Google Pixel's smoothness so maybe the FSE group is on the right track.
Previous leaked information shows that the OnePlus 6 will have a dual camera like its predecessor, and still has a headphone jack. Perhaps most interesting is that this phone will not use metal but use glass on the back - maybe even wood - so there will likely be wireless charging.
Leakage times as well as official statements suggest that the OnePlus 6 will probably roll out sooner than previous phones - as early as this month.
