MIUI 12: Highlights and an updated device list

MIUI 12 is the 10th anniversary version from the first day Xiaomi launched the MIUI interface, which is expected to launch in the fall of this year. MIUI 12 may be equipped with many upgrades in design, interface and features.

Recently, a developer has suddenly revealed information about some of the prominent features of MIUI 12 on Xiaomi's official forum in China. However, these are only features included in the experimental version of MIUI 12 rather than the official version, so this information is for reference only.

Navigation bar and gesture system completely new

To minimize the application, return to the home screen, swipe the navigation bar upwards.

Multitasking interface with new animation

Multitasking interface on MIUI 12 retains the same application layout as MIUI 11 but the effects and animations have been completely replaced to help users operate more easily and smoothly.

New photography interface

Xiaomi will probably completely revamp the photography interface on MIUI 12. At the same time, to be able to take full advantage of the camera's capabilities on new smartphone models, it will add many new features.
