Microsoft releases update KB5006746 to fix up to 64 errors on Windows 11
Microsoft has officially released optional update KB5006746 for Windows 11. This update fixes up to 64 bugs, including those that cause AMD CPU performance loss and game performance issues.
KB5006746 is part of the October C update plan that has been scheduled by Microsoft in advance. This update allows users to test before the bug fixes will be released in the November Patch Tuesday.
Unlike Patch Tuesdays, C updates will only include bug fixes, not security updates.

- Fixed incompatibility with applications that used some non-ASCII characters in the registry key
- Fixed incompatibility with Intel network software "Killer" and "SmartByte"
- Along with some other bug fixes.
To install KB5006746 you need to go to Settings > Windows Update and then click " Check for updates ". Since this is an optional update, Windows will not install it until you click the " Download now " button .
Windows 11 users can also download and install KB5006746 manually from the Microsoft Update Catalog page.
For users who choose not to install the KB5006746 update, the patch updates will automatically be installed in the November Patch Tuesday update.
