Computer manufacturing company Maingear recently unveiled its Titan 17 laptop with Intel's fastest desktop processor and SSD storage of up to 1.8TB.

Computer manufacturing company Maingear recently unveiled its Titan 17 laptop, powered by Intel's fastest desktop processor and SSD storage of up to 1.8TB .

Titan 17 laptop equipped with 6-core Intel Core i7-3960X processor for gaming desktop systems.

It can mount three 600 GB SSDs with a total capacity of up to 1.8 TB, or 3 HDDs with a total capacity of up to 750 GB.

Titan 17 has a 17.3-inch screen, supports up to 32 GB of memory and has slots for Nvidia's latest mobile graphics card.

Titan 17's cooling system consists of four fans, including one CPU fan and three GPU fans. Titan 17 is also equipped with a webcam, two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI 1.4a port, FireWire port and eSATA port.

Weighing about 5.5kg including batteries, the Titan 17 is priced from $ 3,499 and can now be pre-ordered from the Maingear website.

Specifically, Titan 17 will cost $ 8,264 with the highest configuration including Core i7-3960X processor, 32 GB RAM, 1.8 TB SSD drive, Nvidia GeForce GTX 580 M 2 GB graphics card and Windows operating system 7 Home Premium.

According to a Maingear spokesperson, Titan 17 started selling in early March 2012.
