MacBook Air 2010 pitted ULV laptops

The MacBook Air performed much better than some of the ULV low-voltage laptops currently on the market.

The new MacBook Air is a really interesting choice thanks to the slimmer design than most laptops available on the market today and the promise of battery life and impressive graphics capabilities from Apple.

The price of USD 1,000 (about VND 23 million in Vietnam) is relatively reasonable for a Mac with flash memory for high data access speed. The difference in price compared to laptops running Windows using current low-voltage processors is not much compared to what the Apple laptop is superior.

To compare the performance between the Apple product and the rest of the model, Cnet magazine used the Windows operating system installed on the MacBook Air to get the most relevant comparisons.

Running Windows on Mac in Bootcamp mode and scoring with the Windows Experience Index system, MacBook Air 11.6 inches to achieve the above score. Hard drive scores reached 6.9 points while microprocessors were not bad, 4.2 points.

In the performance comparison table with Multitasking and iTunes Encoding tests, the MacBook Air 11.6 inches is only inferior to the MacBook Pro with the 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and Acer Timeline X using Core chips. i7-680UM.

The final and equally important review is the battery life. The new MacBook Air is only slightly behind Acer Timeline X. The difference between the MacBook Air uses Windows and Mac OS by about 5 minutes.

The battery test is done by Cnet by enabling the device to turn on the screen brightness at 50%, turning on Wi-Fi, and the battery mode set to " High performance " and continuously running a Full HD standard clip.

The MacBook Air clearly has a battery life close to Apple's promise of five consecutive hours than the "Apple" MacBook Pro announced for up to 10 hours in a row.
