The CNet technology site says Apple plans to release a new-generation Air laptop with a screen smaller than the current 13.3-inch model but larger than the iPad's 9.7-inch. Laptop also has a starting price lower than 1,500 USD.
The product uses Nvidia MCP89 chipset, Intel Core processor instead of the new i5 / i7 chip which is equipped in MacBook Pro models and longer battery life.

Despite being one of the pioneers for the tablet market, Apple still wants to emphasize that the iPad and MacBook Air ultra-thin laptops are for different uses.
In addition, during next week's event, many sites confirmed that Apple will release an upgrade of Mac OS X or a 13-inch Macbook Pro using Core i3.
