Intel updates WiFi and GPU drivers for Windows 11

Intel has just released new drivers for its WiFi and GPU. In this update, Intel has made optimizations for better compatibility with Windows 11 that Microsoft has just launched.

The new GPU driver released on August 11 in addition to better support for Windows 11 also has the following changes:

  1. This update fixes issues that caused the following games to crash: Doom Eternal, Chivalry II, Scarlet Nexus, Total War: Warhammer II, Horizon Zero Dawn, The Witcher 3, and black screen when playing Warframe in DX11
  2. Intel fixes a bug that prevented the dual boot menu of the operating system from working
  3. The bug that caused the screen to flicker in Microsoft Edge has been fixed

The new WiFi (WiFi and Bluetooth) driver update for Windows 11 was released on August 14 and includes the following changes:

  1. Windows 11 Support
  2. The bug that prevented LG TVs from connecting to Miracast when using Intel WiFi has been fixed
  3. The sound quality of Microsoft Teams when joining a call with a Bluetooth device has been improved
  4. Bluetooth mouse now moves smoother

The WiFi driver update will be available with the following WiFi adapters:

  1. Driver version 22.70.0.6 for AX210/AX201/AX200/9560/9260/9462/9461
  2. Driver version 20.70.25/2 for 8265/8260
  3. Driver version19.51.37.2 for 7265(Rev. D)/3165/3168

Bluetooth driver updates are available with the following adapters:

  1. Driver version 22.70.2.1 for AX210, AX201, AX200, 9560, 9462, 9461
  2. Driver version 22.70.0.3 for 9260, 8260, 18260, 8265, 18265
  3. Driver version 20.100.10.3 for 3168, 3165, 7265, 17265

Windows 11 users can download and update new drivers using Intel's Assitant Tool.
