How to reset Instagram algorithm to get new feed

The Instagram algorithm often floods your feed with things you don't care about. Random ads, weird short videos, and posts from accounts you barely know are common. If your feed is cluttered, it's time to reset your Instagram algorithm to clean it up and find the content you actually like. This article will show you how to reset your Instagram algorithm and clean up your feed without too much effort.

Why should you reset the Instagram algorithm?

The Instagram algorithm monitors and learns from what you like, comment on, or watch to suggest new feeds. But sometimes it gets it wrong. Say you accidentally liked a cat video, and now it thinks it's a video you liked. Now, there are only cats in your feed.

So, the Instagram algorithm reset will wipe out weird suggestions from the Explore page, Reels, and main feed.

Plus, this algorithm doesn't unfollow anyone, so your friends' posts are safe. It just gives Instagram another chance to figure out what you really like. If your app is having trouble, check out How to Fix Instagram Not Working .
