How to Increase the Number of Undo in Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Instructions to increase the number of Undo times in Word

Step 1:

We press the key combination Windows + R and then enter the keyword regedit , click OK to access.

Step 2:

Then display the Registry Editor interface, we access the path HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftOffice16.0WordOptions. Note depending on the version you are using that 16.0 may change:

• Office 2007 5th path is 12.0
• Office 2010 5th path is 14.0
• Office 2013 5th path is 15.0
• Office 2016 5th path is 16.0
• Office 2019 5th path is 17.0

In the next interface, right-click on an empty space, then right-click and choose New, and then select DWORD value (32bit) .

Step 3:

Next, name this new file UndoHistory as shown below.

Step 4:

At UndoHistory that you just created, double click to open and then tick Hexadecimal . Next you enter the number of times you want Undo want to create . Click OK below to save.

After you finish setting it up, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint will all change the number of Undo times.
