Amethyst Geodes are small spherical structures consisting of three distinct layers: an outer shell of polished Basalt, a middle layer of Calcite, and an inner core filled with Amethyst and germinating Amethyst blocks.

 

Players can find Amethyst Geodes between Y level 26 and -46, with no specific level being more likely. Interestingly, whenever a new block is generated in the Overworld, there is a 4% chance that it will contain an Amethyst Geode.

Once a player locates a polar block, they can easily mine Calcite blocks with any pickaxe.

Stony Peak

Stony Peak is a mountain variant that usually forms near warm regions such as grasslands and forests. As the name suggests, it is mainly made up of regular stone blocks. However, Calcite blocks are also generated in large quantities on these mountains. Players can easily identify Calcite deposits by spotting white stripes of blocks along the mountainside.

To collect Calcite, players must use a pickaxe, as it will not drop if mined with bare hands or other tools. Additionally, using a pickaxe with a higher Fortune spell will increase the chance of obtaining more Calcite from each block.
