Step 1: Go into the game, in Pokemon Master main interface, click the Settings icon in the lower right corner, then select Settings.

Step 2: In the Settings section, select Edit in the Player Nickname section. Next, click on the name box in the Player Nickname panel.

Step 3: Enter your new character name and click Yes below to agree to change the character name. Note that after changing this name, it takes 30 days for you to be able to change it again.
