How to adjust the iPhone X unlock icon

By default the lock icon on the iPhone X screen will not be changed. But when you install the LatchKey utility, you can change the unlock icon.

When using Face ID to unlock iPhone X will display the closed lock icon, or open to indicate the current status of the device. By default this lock icon on iPhone X cannot be changed. But with jailbroken iPhone devices, you can install LatchKey tweak on iPhone X to customize the unlock icon. Currently users can install tweak completely free on iPhone X.

Instructions to adjust the unlock icon iPhone X

Step 1:

Users access Cydia and then on the https://repo.packix.com/ repo. This repo has been added to Electra by default, so you don't need to find and add sources to Cydia. Then proceed to install tweak down the device and then press Restart Springboard.

Step 2:

Go to Settings then select LatchKey tweak to proceed custom. At this interface, click the Enable button to activate tweak.

Step 3:

At this interface we will proceed to customize the unlock icon. You can first select the position at Position . The location of the padlock can be moved to the Status bar, on the right, left or hidden unlock icon.

Step 4:

Next to the Apperances section can click the Theme to select the icon type.

In addition, users can change colors with the color palette. Some customizations will require users to press Respring below to apply.

We can see the unlock icon on iPhone X has been changed as shown below.

Thus the iPhone X unlock icon has been changed via LatchKey tweak. We can change the location of the icon display, change the color or even hide the icon if desired.
