Highlights on the iPhone Xs duo

The pair of iPhone Xs and Xs Max has just been released by Apple as the first generation iPhone to support two sim, equipped with Bionic A12 processor.

iPhone has the largest screen despite its overall size unchanged

Apple equipped the 6.5-inch iPhone Xs Max, nearly doubling that of the first-generation iPhone. And iPhone Xs has a screen equal to last year's iPhone X.

Although equipped with a large screen to increase display space, the size of this iPhone duo is comparable to the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. Specifically, the iPhone Xs is about the same size as the iPhone X and iPhone 8. The size of the iPhone Xs Max is equal to the iPhone 8 Plus, with a thickness of 7.7 mm and a weight of 208 grams.

Add new yellow

The duo of the iPhone Xs and Xs Max has been added to the yellow color next to the black and silver and gray space like the iPhone X last year. The frame is made of polished steel and the toughened glass top is arguably the most durable on the market.

Camera AI

The camera on the iPhone Xs and Xs Max is no different from the iPhone X, still a dual-camera 12 megapixel camera, regular lenses and telephoto lenses with f / 1.8 and f / 2.4 respectively. But the newly-equipped AI duo camera provides better image quality, adding smartHDR, adjusting the virtual aperture is added to the option of changing the bokeh effect.

Video recording supports stereo recording

The iPhone Xs and Xs Max are all added with 512 GB of memory options, the highest capacity available on iPhone models.

The screen supports 120 Hz

Apple claims the iPhone Xs and Xs Max are the best screen quality smartphones on the market today. Not only equipped with Super Retina OLED resolution panel, support HDR Dolby Vision and HDR 10 but also supported 120 Hz touch screen, this screen technology has only been equipped with Apple on iPad 10.5 new. This helps the screen of the new iPhone duo display smoother motion than previous generation iPhones.

Bionic A12 processor

According to Apple, the first mobile chip developed on the 7 nm process includes their 6-core CPU and 4-core GPU for 15% faster processing speed, CPU for graphics processing capability increased by 50% but still can save energy up to 50% compared to the previous generation.

iPhone Xs and Xs Max are significantly improved in processing speed thanks to the new AI platform with the Neural Engine 2.0 processor with 8 cores.

Support two sim

This is the first time Apple has released smartphones supporting two sims. But the international iPhone Xs and Xs Max only use sim card tray with an electronic sim eSim, the sim type is usually used by US carriers but not popular in the world. And the dual sim tray support version is only available for the Chinese market.

Improve battery and water resistance

According to Apple, the iPhone Xs and Xs Max have more battery life than the iPhone X for 30 and 90 minutes, respectively.

The Xs duo has also been upgraded to IP68 water resistance by Apple, which can withstand water immersion for 30 minutes at a maximum depth of 2m, while the iPhone X and iPhone 8 only meet IP67 standards.
