Camera

According to Apple's statement, the iPhone Pro 12 is less impressive. But based on real-life impressions, the 12 Pro still has a good camera. The iPhone 12 Pro has a 12MP sensor with a 52mm equivalent lens for 2x photos, and a 12MP wide camera.

The main camera includes Smart HDR 3 and lets in more light than the front cameras for brighter and sharper photos. The iPhone 12 Pro can also take photos in night mode but only on the main camera, which is a point where the 13 Pro has now upgraded.

When recording movies on iPhone 12 Pro, users with Dolby Vision HDR support 60fps recording, helping videos and photos with brighter colors, deeper blacks.

Screen

The screen on the iPhone 13 Pro measures 6.1 inches and is made up of a Super Retina XDR display. The display is also OLED and has a resolution of 2532×1170 pixels, which is sharp enough for everyday use.

iPhone 13 Pro also has HDR and Truetone, so the phone will change the brightness to suit your environment. It's also IP68-rated, which means the phone is dustproof, and has Adaptive Refresh rates of up to 120Hz with ProMotion, which means it'll run fast and respond well when you're surfing on a page or between applications.

iPhone 12 Pro does not have ProMotion and is located at 60Hz, so it will not be very smooth to use. However, this model still has an OLED panel and HDR content at 1200 nit, which means the screen will be bright and sharp.

The display is 6.1 inches with a resolution of 1170 × 2532 pixels and has true tones on the iPhone 13 Pro. It also has support for Dolby Visions, for better HDR performance on compatible content.

Processor

The specs are where the iPhone 13 Pro really shines. This model includes the new A15 Bionic chip, with a new 6-core CPU and a new 5-core GPU, which makes the device run a lot faster than its predecessor.

iPhone 13 Pro runs on iOS 15. Apple claims that its graphics are 50% better than leading competitors due to the 5-core GPU. The new cores offer faster performance and should offer better graphics than older models, including the iPhone 12 Pro.

In terms of specifications, the iPhone 12 Pro uses the older A14 Bionic chipset. However, it has a 5G modem inside, giving you quick data network access if you're in an unsupported area.

However, the latest GPU and CPU cores are much faster than the previous generation iPhone Pro, which means it will run much faster and produce better graphics due to the extra cores and improved SoC.
