Instructions for unlocking phones using Google Assistant

Once you have owned the Google Assistant on your phone, you can unlock your phone, just say "OK Google". This launches the Google Assistant application and you can interact with your phone: launch applications, check email, call and do any other work in the Google Assistant's capabilities .

Note : For some Android devices, using Google Assistant may result in minor errors and sometimes you may be prompted to enter your PIN or password to unlock the phone first.

Phone lock seems a bit more complicated because this function is not built into the original Google Assistant settings.

First, you will need to install an additional application that can lock your phone. You can use one of the following applications:

  1. Off +
  2. Screen Off
  3. Lock Screen

After installing the application, open Google Assistant and click the drawer icon.

Click the 3 dots icon along the top right of the screen and go to Settings> Shortcuts .

On the Shortcut tab, click on the blue + button .

Enter a new shortcut with the information below:

  1. When I say Ok Google: Phone lock
  2. Google Assistant Should by: Open Screen Off

Finally, click Save.

You can change this voice command to any sentence you want. You can also replace the Screen Off application with another application.
