On October 23, Google announced the successful design of a quantum computer capable of solving the calculation that the fastest supercomputer in the world today (IBM Summit supercomputer) needs 10,000 years to calculate, within 200 seconds. The scientific report of this achievement is published in the journal Nature. This report signals the strong rise of quantum computers in the future. These quantum computers are much more capable of storing and processing information than classical computers, specifically a supercomputer.

The difference that makes quantum supercomputers much faster to handle calculations than conventional supercomputers is the data description transistor.
