Google VPN officially works on iPhone
After a long delay, Google VPN is finally officially rolling out to iPhone users starting today, 2/2/2022.
With an extremely large user base, there is no shortage of VPN options available on iPhones at the moment. However, if you are a registered user of Google One service and want to use Google VPN, your 'time' has finally come. After a long delay, Google VPN is finally officially rolling out to iPhone users starting today, February 2, 2022.
Talking about this important addition, Google said:
'Today, we started rolling out the VPN service to iOS devices. Similar to the Android environment, the VPN will be available to Google One members on Premium plans (2TB or more) through the Google One iOS app. In addition, members can also share their subscription plan and VPN service with up to 5 family members at no additional cost. Overall, nearly everyone can use a VPN, regardless of whether they're on an Android or iOS phone'.
In addition to rolling out VPN for iPhone, Google is also planning to add support for its virtual private network service in more countries. Now, Google users in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and Switzerland can fully use a VPN. The number of supported countries will continue to expand over time.
As mentioned, one thing to keep in mind is that only people who are on Google One's Premium 2TB subscription ($9.99 per month) have access to the VPN. In addition to a VPN, this plan will give you all the perks that come with cheaper plans, plus 2TB of cloud storage, Pro Sessions, and Gold Status on Google Play Points.
Overall, there's no shortage of good VPN services you can use on your iPhone. But if you are a user of Google One service or simply like Google products, this is also a suitable choice to experience.
