Google changes the algorithm, highlighting what users are looking for

This change from Google will save users a lot of time.

Each user has different search needs on the internet. If you are just looking for general information on a topic, then simply click on the search results. However, if you are looking for references to a specific issue, you will spend more time. 

But now, this will be simpler with the significant algorithm change that Google has just launched. When you search for a piece of text, Google will display a featured snippet containing that text at the top of the search page. When you click on it you will be redirected to the exact location of that paragraph on the page. The "search giant" will highlight the text you are looking for, making it easy to recognize without having to press Ctrl + F to search again.

In fact, Google has been rolling out this feature to AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) pages since 2018. Currently, Google only continues to implement it on HTML pages.

While this is a great feature for users, websites may not like it. The direct access to the text to find quickly will make users skip ads on the site as well as reduce interaction with the site.

This algorithm is automatically updated, web pages and users do not have to do anything. Google will automatically handle this entire process.

According to Google, administrators can also reject changes to this algorithm. Google says it uses the Scroll to text feature to give users direct access to the text they search.

In theory, this new update works well in all browsers. However, as usual, Chrome will produce the best results and other browsers may encounter errors at times.
