How to Connect a Playstation 5 Controller on Steam

How to install PlayStation 5 controller in Steam

First, we need to participate in the beta test of the Steam client to be able to use the PS5 controller in Steam right away.

Step 1:

We open the Steam app and click on Steam> Settings> Account .

Now you look below at Beta participation and click on Change . Then show the drop-down menu, we click on Steam Beta Update then click OK.

Finally, click Restart Steam to restart Steam.

Step 2:

After updating Steam, you should be able to connect your PS5 controller to your computer. We will use a USB-C cable to connect to the computer, or use Bluetooth to connect the device.

Go to Settings> Devices> Bluetooth & Other Devices and turn on Bluetooth . Then we press and hold 2 keys PS + Share on the PS5 device to switch to Pairing mode .
