Gmail users unexpectedly receive 10GB of storage

Immediately after launching the Google Drive cloud computing service to compete directly with Microsoft SkyDrive, Dropbox and other competitors, the Google Group suddenly raised the storage level for Gmail users by 35% more.

Notably, the move on the 'search giant' performed completely 'silently' without any official announcement.

Launched in 2004, Gmail offers 1GB of free storage for users. Then this limit is gradually increased, and most recently it is 7GB.

However, on April 24, Google has unexpectedly ' added ' the limit for Gmail to 10GB of free storage.

The information on the site was first revealed by Engadget and until now, many Gmail accounts have not yet seen their mailboxes received new storage levels. But some Gmail users have reported that they have found that the free storage limit is raised to 10GB.

Well-known for its stability, efficiency and quality, with the move of 'loosening' the free storage memory above, surely Google's email service will again attract more and more users.
